  2. Oh no! We can't have that.

The site is still down unfortunately.

I wonder if they are doing a routine maintenance or the site is under attack. But I feel good that I managed to read most of the important topics and then the site went down,

  4. 24 hours is like a week. On SC You've missed quite a bit. Here's a short summary.

    - The admins have created a new Akhlak forum.

    - There is a new Yassir Habib thread where people are asking questions about him.

    - Our friend in the Child Marriage thread keep on insisting that his outdated and misinformed ideas are still valid.

-The Faith and Reason thread is getting more traction. A new user A has posted her experience.

    - The user who wanted to do Muta with a Christian lady had some follow-up religious questions. I think you know what topic this is.

    - Two users are having a heated debate in the AhlulBayt TV thread

a lot more is going on

  5. The web server is inaccessible. Maybe there is some serious issues.

I don't see any message on SC facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ShiaChat

  6. I just checked a site. downforme.org http://downforme.org/is-www.shiachat.com-down-today-for-everyone

Strangely the result says the site is up!!!!

Is www.Shiachat.com down today for everyone or is it just not working for me?
    www.Shiachat.com is up!
It seems that www.Shiachat.com is only down and not working for you right now!

  7. downforme just told me the same thing.....that it's only down for me LOL

  8. Do you think they don't want us on the site? :(

They could easily block us you now....

I think someone is sleeping on the job. Maybe one of the admin took the site off for upgrading the system and then went to bed without putting the site back online??

  9. And that is funny they put up an akhlaq forum....LOL
I know I can work on my akhlaq (well more like work on holding what I am really thinking and zipping my mouth). But I bet the people with the worst akhlaq will be the ones lecturing everyone on how they should behave with a holier than though act hahahaha.

The mutah with christian lady. I apologized to him, I hope he wasn't a troll LOL. I pray he doesn't mislead this lady. I have a big problem with the way some of these kids use this permission to deceive, use, waste, and promote promiscuity and loose dirty behavior.

I did peek in for 3 minutes this morning (but only in that section) I didn't log on because my schedule was full. I did notice our friend with his outdated views. He thought the 14 year old girl on the train was fully grown and trying to impress him with her style of dress....I guess he examined her internal organs. And little does he know women dress to impress other women not men.

Yassir habib.....I sort of like the old hot head

  10. I am kidding there ImAli. I am sure they are not blocking us.

If not the hackers, then probably it's too many users/people on the site, bringing the whole system down. I just hope someone knows that the site is not working for us and get to work on it asap.

Let's face the truth, no one likes detention. :) No one likes to be told that their akhlak is less than stealer. I hope the Akhlak Forum will be a success. I have my doubts, but lets hope they prove me wrong.

Hey! Don't go zipping off what your brain is thinking on the spur of the moment. Spontaneity and hilarity goes hand in hand together. I am pretty sure we would never heard your killer kitten story if you over-think every time you posted something.

  11. I dislike holier-than-you people. Most of them are egotistical, narrow minded and arrogant.

I think the Having-a-Muta-with-a-Chritian was not a troll. He probably couldn't get his point across well and he probably mistype a few thing that made people think he was not who he said he was.

I don't think he can misled the lady. The woman probably have more experience than the poster. I don't really have an issue if they use Muta with mature women. I think most of the misuse of Muta is done with young girls (teenager and mid twenties). They are the most gullible and idealistic.

  12. You like Yassir Habib? OMG! I am going to tell everyone on SC.

    :)

So, why don't I see YOU responding and defending the young-hot-headed Shaykh?

Whenever I hear anything about him, it's generally controversial. Either he is attacking someone or someone is attacking him. I don't really know him or his ideas well. He is attacking a lot of Shii scholars whom he perceive as ''being-nice to Sunnis''. The only person he is not attacking is Sistani. Maybe Sistani is too boring for him?

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yes.....I like him even though I don't agree with everything he says. The reason being is he speaks his mind and says things that the other scholars are really thinking but don't have the nerve to come out and publicly say. I will go declare my respect for him once the site is back up LOL.

  14. Oh my....I just read that he celebrates the Aisha death anniversary...I wonder if MDM ever attends the celebration.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Here is a site for him

    http://www.the-drop.net/en/edara/index.php?id=113

I don't know if he is the owner or not

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hahaha...
I can totally picture him in one of his majlis. But not sure if he attends his center. I think they are conducting the service mostly in Arabic. But I'll ask MDM once SC is up.

Yassir Habib official website is Al-Qatrah.Net http://www.alqatrah.net/ but you are right the drop.net is also his website.

The site is very entertaining. Especially the Q and A section http://www.alqatrah.net/en/question/index.php

You should read the section if you haven't yet. Some of his answers are unintentionally hilarious.

  17. Most of his followers say that they like him because he is speaking his mind.

The first time I took note of him was when they started advertising and running their own TV station, FadakTV. A few people, mostly his supporters, were ecstatic that he started his TV station.

Then came his haters. The haters came to tell everyone to stay away from him and don't listen to him because they assert that Yassir Habib has bad akhlak. They accuse him of misrepresenting the message of Ahl al-Bayt.

I thought, what he was doing, was to attract viewers to watch his TV channel. It looked like a stunt..you know ..ala Jerry Springer. That's how it looked to me initially. But then I saw him on a Mubahilla session (where they cursed each other). Then he started communicating with the outside world and his website clarified his position. Everything started to look real. He seems to believe every words he is uttering.

I saw the video of them celebrating Ayesha's death. It seemed embarrassingly juvenile with balloons and everything. They are taking tabbarra and tawalla to a new and unprecedented level.

  19. Welcome Prop.
Yep. The site is still down. Already 12 hours downtime. I hope they get it up soon.

sorry, can't share your joy. I am not following England's soccer clubs. Isn't Replicant a Man Utd fan?

  20. what is all this gheeba upon my name!?!?1111one

no guys, i dont know yassir al habib, but i *do* respect him for having the courage to speak about how ammi jaan murdered the prophet (pbuh), and having no time for this shia-sunni unity when we cant even have shia-shia unity. also, we do not celebrate the death day of aisha, instead we celebrate the death of umar by building a bonfire, creating an effigy of umar and burning it on the bonfire. i would love to attend the aisha death day pary tho.
